Sugar & Spice

There is such a feeling of sweetness and joy I get when I look at a little girl’s dress. I am reminded of tea parties and dress up - games I enjoyed as a child. This series began with my painting a dress that belonged to my daughter who is now in her twenties. I was flooded with memories from her childhood and found myself smiling throughout the process. What a great way to treasure happy memories.
